TERMS & CONDITIONS

By placing an order with Bakt, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

    • All orders must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    • Orders are not confirmed until payment has been received.

    • Prices are subject to change without notice, however confirmed orders will not be affected.

    • Customers are responsible for collecting their order at the agreed date and time.

    • Orders not collected within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up time will be considered a no-show unless prior arrangements have been made.

    • After 24 hours, Bakt reserves the right to discard the product to maintain food safety and operational standards.

    • No refunds will be provided for no-show or uncollected orders.

    • Due to the custom and perishable nature of our products, all sales are final.

    • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled pick-up date are non-refundable.

    • Refunds or credits are offered at Bakt’s discretion only, taking into account the circumstances and business impact.

    • If a refund is issued, it will be processed via the original payment method.

    • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly - usually within one business day.

    • Changes to confirmed orders (including design, size, flavour, or date) must be requested at least 72 hours prior to pick-up and are subject to approval.

    • Additional charges may apply.

    • All cakes and baked goods are made fresh and are best consumed within 3–5 days of collection.

    • Storage and handling instructions will be provided and must be followed.

    • Bakt is not responsible for deterioration in quality once the product has been collected and handled by the customer.

    • While we take care in preparation, Bakt operates in a kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, and other allergens.

    • We cannot guarantee products are free from traces of allergens.

    • It is the customer’s responsibility to disclose any allergies prior to ordering.

    • Bakt is not liable for damage to cakes once they have been collected, including damage caused by transport, weather, or handling.

    • The customer accepts full responsibility for the product once it leaves our premises.

    • While not all scenarios can be outlined in these Terms & Conditions, Bakt reserves the right to make decisions in the best interest of the business, in line with standard industry practice.

    • This includes decisions relating to no-shows, refunds, credits, and order fulfilment.

    • We may photograph or video our products for marketing and promotional purposes, including use on our website, social media platforms, and other digital marketing channels.

    • Any photos or videos shared with us by customers, whether via social media or direct message, may be reposted unless otherwise requested.
